White Agro-fabric 17g/m² AGRO-PLANT protects plants from:

  • frost, low temperatures
  • excessive (too rapid) moisture loss in the soil
  • damage from hail
  • damage from birds, harmful insects, etc.
  • in urban allotment gardens, it prevents the settling of soot and dust on plants

Thanks to these properties, especially the several degrees higher soil and air temperature under the cover, the use of AGROPLANT agro-fabric provides optimal growth conditions for plants, resulting in earlier and higher yields. The fabric is reusable, provided it does not get heavily soiled.

White Agro-fabric 50 g/m² AGRO-PLANT

Used for winter protection of plants overwintering in the ground (roses, rhododendrons, conifers, vines, heathers, magnolias, etc.). It is prohibited to cover evergreen plants with black plastic as these plants require light and ventilation. This cover is especially necessary in snowless winters when plants are deprived of the protective snow layer. The porous structure of the agro-fabric allows breathing, and its lightness does not interfere with the growth of plants, creating a specific microclimate that benefits plants. In field crops, the white agro-fabric can be used to cover overwintering parsley, leeks, carrots, and plants with low frost resistance. It provides protection for plants overwintering in the ground during snowless winters and protection for plants with low frost resistance. It is also used for early spring protection of nursery plants and crops in foil tunnels, as shading in greenhouses and foil tunnels, and also for covering low tunnels (instead of plastic), eliminating the need for ventilation. In orchard farming, it is used to cover tree trunks (shrubs) to protect them from frost and sun exposure and also prevents bark chewing.

Black Agro-fabric 50 g/m² AGRO-PLANT provides:

  • elimination of weeds without using herbicides
  • protects the soil from water loss due to evaporation
  • accelerates fruiting and increases plant yield (the temperature under the fabric is several degrees higher, which promotes the development of the root system)
  • improves the sanitary conditions of plants, making them less susceptible to diseases
  • the porous structure of the fabric allows breathing, and its lightness does not interfere with plant growth, creating a specific microclimate that benefits plants

Unlike other materials, especially black plastic, the black agro-fabric is water-permeable, so rainwater or irrigation water penetrates the covered soil, ensuring that the plants' roots do not lack water, as often happens when using other mulching materials. The best results are achieved when mulching the soil in strawberry, lettuce, melon, tomato, watermelon, cucumber, etc. crops.
