Privacy Policy

This document sets out the rules for the processing and protection of personal data of potential and current business partners (in particular customers and suppliers) of Agro-Jumal Sp. z o.o., hereinafter referred to as the Data Controller.

I. Definitions

  1. Cookies - means IT data, in particular small text files, stored and retained on the devices through which the User accesses the websites of the Service.
  2. Service - means the website owned by the Data Controller.
  3. Device - means the electronic device through which the User accesses the Service.
  4. User - means the entity using the content and functionality available on the Data Controller's websites or for whom, in accordance with the Regulations and legal provisions, electronic services may be provided, or with whom an Electronic Services Agreement may be concluded.

III. Legal Basis

The Data Controller processes personal data in accordance with the applicable provisions of law, in particular the Act of August 29, 1997 on the Protection of Personal Data and the Regulations of the European Parliament and Council (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons in relation to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC ("GDPR").

IV. Purposes of Data Processing and Storage Period

The Data Controller processes personal data solely for the purpose of acquiring clients/suppliers, carrying out processes related to offers, orders/contracts, and after-sales service of goods and services offered, and for the purpose of sending personalized commercial information, in particular for the following purposes:

  • creating an account in the online Service
  • personal, telephone, or email contact
  • sending ordered informational, advertising materials, and offers
  • executing orders/contracts
  • handling service or warranty claims
  • after-sales service
  • potentially pursuing claims
  • adapting the online Services to the needs of Users
  • creating reports and analyses regarding the functionality of the Services, including traffic statistics

These data will be retained for the period necessary to execute contracts, including the provision of service (warranty and post-warranty) services. After this period, the data will be stored solely for the purpose of pursuing claims and sending personalized commercial information.

V. Scope and Method of Data Storage

The Data Controller collects personal data during the client/supplier acquisition, offering, order/contract execution, and after-sales service of goods and services. The data collected includes, among others, the name and surname of the individual (including business owners), their address, NIP, the name and surname of the contact person at the company, their position, department, email, and phone number, and in the case of using the Data Controller's online services, the IP address of the device from which the User accesses the service. The data is stored by the Data Controller in a format that allows it to be transferred.

Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to use selected functionalities of the online Services and to send offers, process orders, contracts, provide services, etc.

The transmission or transfer of collected personal data to third parties does not occur unless these data are necessary for the proper execution of the contract, handling claims or repairs under warranty or guarantee, or sending a catalog by traditional mail. This applies in particular to transport, forwarding, courier, installation, and service companies.

The Data Controller also declares that it entrusts the storage and/or processing of personal data, as specified in the Privacy Policy, to entities providing services to the Data Controller, including hosting, automated marketing, and optimization of communications concerning the Data Controller's online Services.

Regardless of the above, if the User expressly consents, their personal data may be processed for receiving commercial information, particularly to send a requested newsletter to the specified email address.

VI. Data Collected Automatically

The Data Controller informs that while using the Data Controller's online services, data are also collected automatically. This data may be collected through Cookies and automated marketing systems.

The Data Controller informs that, from the moment the user connects to the Service, the system logs contain information such as the user's IP address and the type of device used to access the Service. The Data Controller processes this data in accordance with the law, including the IP address and type of device, connection time, and other usage data related to the user's activity on the Service. These data are processed for technical purposes to adapt the Service to user needs and to gather general statistical data regarding the functioning of the Service.

The Data Controller uses Cookies for the following purposes:

  1. Service Configuration
    • adapting the content of the website to the User's preferences and optimizing the use of the website
    • recognizing the User's device and location to properly display a website tailored to their individual needs;
    • remembering the User's selected settings and personalizing the User interface, e.g., regarding the selected language or region
    • remembering the history of visited pages on the Service for content recommendations
  2. Ensuring the full functionality of the websites
    • adapting the content of the website to the User's preferences and optimizing its use. In particular, Cookies allow recognizing the basic parameters of the User's device and properly displaying a website tailored to their individual needs;
  3. ensuring the security and reliability of the Service
  4. presenting multimedia content on the Service's websites, which is loaded from the external service [YouTube]
  5. collecting general, anonymous statistical data through Google Analytics tools
  6. using interactive features to promote the Service via social media [Facebook]
  7. profiling advertising content based on User interests

The User can change the settings regarding location sharing and Cookies at any time, specifying the conditions for storing and accessing Cookies. These settings can be adjusted through the browser settings. The settings can be changed to block automatic Cookie handling or inform about each Cookie placement. Detailed information on managing Cookies is available in the browser settings.

The User can delete Cookies at any time using the browser's available features. Limiting the use of Cookies may affect some of the functionalities available on the website.

VII. Rights to Access, Rectify, Delete, Restrict Processing, Object to Processing, and Data Portability


Any person whose personal data is collected can request from the Data Controller:

  • access to their personal data
  • rectification of personal data
  • deletion of personal data
  • restriction of personal data processing
  • objection to processing
  • data portability

Additionally, anyone whose personal data is collected can object to the processing of personal data, particularly in the case of profiling by the Data Controller's online services. To exercise the above rights, the User should contact the Data Controller by email: biuro@agrojumal.com.pl. The Data Controller will process the request within 30 days, and in justified cases, this period may be extended to 90 days. However, it should be noted that deleting, restricting, transferring, or objecting to the processing of data may impact the services provided and could prevent their execution, particularly in cases involving legal obligations related to claims.

In the case where the Data Controller requests consent for sending electronic commercial information, the person who gave consent has the right to withdraw it. To do so, the User can click the link in the commercial information or send an email to biuro@agrojumal.com.pl to withdraw consent.

VIII. Data Security

The Data Controller declares that it takes all necessary steps to ensure a high level of security in processing customers' personal data. Any incidents related to data security should be reported to the following email address: biuro@agrojumal.com.pl.

The Data Controller also declares that it entrusts the storage and/or processing of personal data, as outlined in the Privacy Policy, to entities providing services to the Data Controller, including hosting, automated marketing, and optimization services concerning the Data Controller's online services, and in the case of processing orders/contracts, claims, or service requests: transport, forwarding, courier, installation, and service companies.

IX. Final Provisions

Anyone whose personal data is collected has the right to file a complaint with the appropriate supervisory authority if they believe that the processing of their personal data violates the applicable data protection laws: the Act on the Protection of Personal Data or the General Data Protection Regulation.

The Data Controller reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy by publishing a new privacy policy on this page.
